French Guest Houses
At the entranceof the historical town of Cluny, the "La Pierre Folle" establishment is a renovated farmhouse featuring wood, stone, glass and nature at your doorstep. We've set up 5 bed & breakfast rooms and are located just 3 km from the centre of Cluny and 12 km from the Taizé ecumenical community in Southern Burgundy. We make available to our guests a spacious lounge and living room where breakfast is served as well as dinner several evenings a week. This area is also set aside for relaxation with sofas and armchairs for reading and playing a variety of board games in our collection. Guests can also enjoy the intimacy of our private patio with its adjacent flower garden and natural pool.

All our rooms have been decorated with taste, originality and to a high standard of comfort.
Our establishment is perfectly suited for longer stays or as an overnight stop along your route.

We serve dinner to guests on Fridaysand Sundays. Our experienced chef Luigi crafts dishes featuring the sunny cuisine of southern France and the Mediterranean. A dining area has also been reserved for guests.

Renowned as the cradle of Romanesque art and architecture, the town of Cluny offers a wide array of marked hikes (including branches of national "GR" circuits and the local Greenways), as well as heritage visits and historical tours. As one of France's equestrian centres, Cluny regularly hosts horse races and competitions throughout the season. Saturday mornings are always special events as locals and tourists meet and shop amidst the stalls of the Cluny open-air market.

Here, you're in Southern Burgundy, the sunny side of this famous region.
